Is working for the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency, Fort Detrick, Maryland. In this capacity, Maj. Howard actively engages in the Defense Acquisition Process addressing Air Force Medical Service and Joint service capability gaps through Research, Development and Acquisition (RD&A) and Test and Evaluation (T&E). Maj. Howard directs rapid, independent operational testing of commercial, foreign, government-off the shelf medical and dental technologies; evaluates tactics, techniques and procedures to identify program risks and help ensure right solutions are delivered to the warfighters. Maj. Howard has served over 25 years in the Air Force Medical Service, beginning his career as a Health Services technician prior to attending IPAP.
