Captain Kathryn Ovington

Captain Kate Ovington joined the USAF Air National Guard as a direct accession. She is currently serving with the 113th Medical Group in the DC Air National Guard at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Capt Ovington’s civilian job is in General Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery with Georgetown Orthopaedics/MedStar Orthopaedic Institute. She is always looking for new adventures and recently completed a 50-mile ruck race in under 20 hours. She was also the Team Captain of a Ragnar team. She will soon be celebrating her 24th wedding anniversary with her husband Matt.
