Kathryn G. Ovington, MMS, PA-C

TITLE: Senior Director-at-Large Air Force Reserve/Air National Guard

Ovington joined the USAF Air National Guard as a direct accession. She is currently serving with the 113th Medical Group in the DC Air National Guard at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Ovington has completed all three AMP classes and is an active provider for Team Aerospace and Flight Medicine.   Ovington’s civilian job is in Surgery where she first assists in several types of surgeries, from knee replacements to c-sections and also manages post-operative care for general surgery patients.  She has 2 college-age children and she celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary with her husband Matt in September.

This is my second year on the SAFPA Board. I am very interested in hearing from current and potential ANG and Reserve SAFPA members. Please reach out to me or Frances Burress with questions, comments or suggestions on how to develop SAFPA as a go-to resource for you.   ~Kate
